Kimberly Garner
Office Manager
Kim handles a variety of administrative and operational tasks that keep our organization running smoothly. Her responsibilities include bookkeeping, donation processing, and overall administrative support to ensure our programs and initiatives stay on track. Before joining Read to Grow, Kim worked as a paralegal and office manager in a law firm contracted by the State of Connecticut to represent children in child welfare and protection cases. This experience has given her an insight into the challenges many families face and strengthened her commitment to supporting children’s well-being. Kim brings strong organizational skills and a background in legal and case management to her role. She holds a BA in Biology and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Legal Studies. Her favorite children’s book is
Charlie Needs a New Cloak by Tomie DePaola — her son’s favorite, and one they read together countless times.
